Ninelle Salem is a professional dancer from former USSR.
She was trained in classical, contemporary, national character dance (folk dances of all nations, that are raised to professional level by applying classical dance techniques to make it entertaining for professional stage performances) and other various dance forms.
She studied teaching dance and choreography at Perm Institute of Culture in the Soviet Union.
Ninelle traveled through Europe, performing with a professional dance group.
She arrived in Australia in 1996 and spent a few years studying professional pilates after which she opened her own fully equipped pilates studio in East Bentleigh. The new knowledge has helped her with her own injury rehabilitation.
Soon after she became involved in Argentine tango .
She trained with Melbourne and Internationally acclaimed Argentine tango teachers and dancers.
Ninelle became utterly in love with the art of Argentine tango and soon started teaching classes and training for performances with Bill Jarman, who is a professionally trained dancer from NZ dance school and one of the founders of Melbourne tango community.
She is an excellent leader and can teach both leaders and followers.
